Kupferrohr als Stromschiene

Hab seinerzeit meinen Saxo von NiCd auf LiFePO4Y-Zellen umgebaut.
Dabei entstand die Notwendigkeit, eine Polverbindung von einem Ende der Akkubox zum anderen zu bringen.
Hab Kupferrohr verwendet, plattgeklopft, gebohrt, im Hochsommer in kurzen Hosen und ohne Hemd
gebastelt: dabei rutschte mir die Schiene aus den Fingern. Ein Kurzschluss über 8 Zellen brutzelte einen halben Batteriepol weg,
verflüssigtes Metall spritzte weg, nix traf mich, Glück gehabt.

Can You guys(SORRY) help Me, I Mount the battery, but keep oscilating the first bar of the battery in gessometer ..

My car was 50% degradação of SOH, now has leah modules, 218ah, battery 3.9v all modules when I connected the battery, I See that it keeping oscilating.
Its show in riding, 3.76 then, 3.73, then 3.69, then 3.71, then 3.79, then 3.82, then 3.79... By this order.

The oscilating is in all the cells by equal.


Any ideias?

The Voltage drop during heavy discharge is normal, due to the cells Internal resistance. So the cell voltages look fine, only unknown variable is the BMS which i dont know much about. But It should not Display the upper two Bars in the first place, since the cells only are about 70% SOC. If the SOC starts at 100% and will lock in only after a full discharge, it should still only count down when current is drawn while driving, never go up. Maybe some numbers or variables get changed up randomly? With Temperature-Correction and SOC lookup tables one can estimate the SOC pretty accurate from the cell voltage, even on Li-ION batteries as Renault does do in addition to the current sensor in their BMS. Before i saw them doing it I thought it was impossible. But either way, output SOC must be fltered to get good Stable values for displaying.

My car was 45% +/- of degradation I don't now if the display has some memory, because My full kms showing was 40/45kms only, maybe is confusing the Display? With that degradation and now a new battery pack, I verify all the wires and volts more than one time, it was My first time doing something like this, so I'm a little scared.

I will wait for more ideas.

Your BMS does not know that you have new cells.



I have seen in your other posting that you already have a Andii BMS.
Did you tell the BMS that you have 218 Zells?

Yes, I already drove for 20kms and all good for now, I think that the display is learning, Was the first ride with the new cells so The display think I had the old ones, and the battery % was in the middle of the last bar...

I don't know, I m guessing, My car maybe the one with the most degradation with conversion to 218ah modules, I gone try charge to 100% and discharge to see the results.

Hi have one doubt I put all the cells in the Chris box, I compress with tight the bolts, I put yellow sheets like the vídeo, but We should to tightenuntil the end or get some space not to stay tight?

The bolts in the photo the cells are normally in the box and I tight until no space in box...its ok or I should relieve like a 1mm in one off the points.

I'm really sorry for some noob questions, but I don't understand germany, I using Ai voice from google and I don't onde to make some fire acident.

Ist the whole Set from Leah (Chinese Dealer)? If not, check if the seperatorsheets (white/yellow-ish plastik) are 0,5mm and not 1mm.

Meine Zellen sind auch angekommen und ich habe nur kurz in die Kartons gesehen. Sind da jetzt neue Konnektoren dabei? Habe nur die Isolationsteile gesehen.

Kuck mal nach einem kleinen Plastikbeutel in dem Karton mit 4 Zellen, da sind normalerweise die Muttern und die Zellverbinder drin, so war es zumindest bei den letzten 6 Lieferungen hier.

Hi guys, about the video, of the 1st bar goes off and on, today I charge to 100%, and My older battery with the 1st bar was making 0.9kms , and with this new battery, when he mades 0.9kms the 1st bar drop, so I think that the Twizy has some memory in the display and It will take some time, I'm gona made some chargers and dischargers to see when the display updates to the new data.

I want to enjoy this to thanks to all Community, without You guys this wasn't possible to do.
