Twizy Charging battery with out the BMS connected

twizy charger correct voltages,

also the following test are out of circuit and not connected to the car.

so the next goal is to connect the control panel up to the charger system with a series of batteries to light up the main control panel and to get the charger symbol showing and see it charging the batteries.

what i like to know is do we also need the BMS also connected for the communications to the charger relay for it to kick in and charge.


if we do also need the BMS connected for communications this is going to get a lot more complex

has anybody tried this ?

any help on this please

The charger will not work without the BMS communication.

But you can fake the BMS communication with an Arduino & VirtualBMS: github.com/dexterbg/Twizy-Virtual-BMS
