Hallo an alle Interessierten,

Hier ist das 0.8.5-Upgrade meiner Twizy_Chk&T.apk

In dieser Version wollte ich mich dem Echtzeit-Management des von Motor und Batterie verbrauchten und zurückgewonnenen A, W und des Nm (Motordrehmoment) bei Beschleunigung und Verzögerung widmen.
Etwas präziser:

- Batterieausgang Ampere in Echtzeit
- Ampere in Echtzeit in die Batterie eingetragen bei "regen"
- Die Watt in Echtzeit von der Batterie ausgegeben
- Die in Echtzeit in den Akku eingetragenen Watt in "regen"
- Motordrehmoment NM in Echtzeit, das vom Motor beim Beschleunigen erzeugt wird
- Das Drehmoment des Bremsmotors NM in Echtzeit, das vom Motor beim Verzögern erzeugt wird

Sehr bald werde ich den Freunden von www.twizy-forum.de/ , denen die Initiative gefallen hat und die sich daher an den Experimenten beteiligt haben, die neue Version der apk zusenden ;) Ich bin gespannt auf Feedback sowohl zur "Fluidität" als auch zur Stabilität :D

Ich erinnere alle Interessierten daran, dass auf der Youtube-Site und oben in diesem 3D alle Details zu finden sind, die für das Experiment "akkreditiert" werden müssen. Experimentieren, das offensichtlich völlig kostenlos ist ;)

Um einen Moment auf die Liste der Daten zurückzukommen, die ich meiner Meinung nach inkrementell mit meiner Apk sehen kann, die in früheren Posts gezeigt wurden, sagen wir, dass ich heute die am Ende dieses Posts gezeigten implementiert habe

2) Twizy-Modellidentifikation (80 oder 45).
3) Kilometerzähler (Twizy-Gesamtkilometerzähler mit Genauigkeit bis zum Hundertstel eines Kilometers. Beispiel: 12906,34 Kilometer)
4) SoC (Prozentsatz der Batterieladung mit der Genauigkeit des hundertsten „Perzentils“. Bsp.: 67,73 %). Dieser Wert im Hundertstel-Perzentil ermöglicht es Ihnen, die Batterieaufladung in "Regeneration" zu überprüfen, da ein kleiner Abstieg ausreicht, um zu sehen, ob die Batterie aufgeladen ist, und daher zu verstehen, ob unser Twizy keine Probleme dieser Art hat.
5) Twizy-Reichweite (die auf dem Armaturenbrett als Restautonomie angezeigten Km)
6) SoH (Gesundheitszustand der Batterie in Prozent. Bsp.: 73 %) Es ist sehr wichtig, diesen Wert zu kennen, da Renault bei den FLEX-Versionen (meine hat eine eigene Batterie) mit einem SoH von weniger als 75 % verpflichtet ist, die Batterie auszutauschen unter Garantie.
7) kWh in der Batterie in Echtzeit
8) Reisekilometer vom Abflug bis zur Ankunft
9) Während der Fahrt verbrauchte kWh
10) Durchschnittsverbrauch in KWh/100km der Fahrt
11) Durchschnittsverbrauch in Wh/km der Fahrt
12) Batterieausgangsampere in Echtzeit
13) Realtime Ampere in die Batterie in "regen" eingetragen
14) Echtzeit-Wattleistung der Batterie
15) Echtzeit-Watt, die bei "regen" in die Batterie eingegeben wurde
16) Motordrehmoment NM in Echtzeit, erzeugt durch den Motor bei Beschleunigung
17) Echtzeit-Bremsmotordrehmoment NM, das von dem verzögernden Motor erzeugt wird
18) Echtzeit-Gaspedalstellung

Hello to all interested parties,

Unfortunately in the last few months I haven't had much time to dedicate to increasing the functionality of the Android APK for our beloved Twizy and so it's been a while since I updated this 3D.

But the Twizy is and remains "the object of my experiments" (experiments that I have never stopped)... there is a lot to learn and experiment with as it is to all intents and purposes an "open project".

Certainly the information that can be retrieved from www.twizy-forum.de/ is "manna from heaven" for me ;)

All this to say that even if my APK hasn't improved much, on the contrary my knowledge on this wonderful FULL Electric project from 12 years ago has improved a lot, knowledge that in due course and time permitting, I will pour into the functional increase of my apk ;)

In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who wanted to participate in the experimentation (Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Japan and others whose nationality I don't know :D ), and anyone who wanted to join in ;)

Those who have already joined the trial received this latest version just released today via email.

Unfortunately I am not able to guarantee "fast" functional increases, due to the little time I can dedicate to the project :D, but I am able to provide the latest version of the apk, very quickly, to anyone who requests it and following the instructions given at the beginning of 3D or on the home page of the Youtube site.

And here we are at the new version 0.8.5.5 of my Twizy_Chk&T.apk

In this version I have made the following information available in real time:

- Average consumption of the trip in kWh/100km
- Engine rpm
- Traction battery voltage with precision to the nearest hundredth of a volt

8) average consumption in kWh/100km of the trip

In this last week I had a little more time to dedicate to the evolution of my apk ;) and therefore I managed to produce an "upgrade" :D

Here we are at version 0.8.6.0 of my Twizy_Chk&T.apk



In this version I have made the following information available, in real-time (all voltages in millivolts :)):

- Voltage of the 14 cells that make up the Twizy battery
- Indication of the value of the cell/cells with the maximum voltage
- Indication of the value of the cell/cells with the minimum voltage
- DeltaV between these 2 values always in millivolts

This information is very useful to understand if the Twizy battery has unbalanced or "deteriorated" cells.

Voltage differences greater than 100 millivolts with Twizy "stopped" are indicators of some problem.

Typically a Twizy battery with perfectly balanced cells and therefore "in good condition" still has a very high SoH.....

in rest condition the cells of my Twizy are all "almost" perfectly aligned, with a max deltaV that is between "10" and "0" millivolts. To this value, I would say more than good, corresponds to a SoH still at 100% after 7 years and 1/2 of its life (I "managed" my Twizy in a maniacal manner, with "only" 56 refills at 100% and never downloaded below 25%)

2. Unzip the Apk with the Pw: "CanBus" (without quotes)
3. Pair your phone's Bluetooth with the ODB2 adapter
4. Install Twizy_Chk&T_LM.apk on your phone
5. Turn on the Twizy (no need to go to Go)
6. Start the Twizy_Chk&T_LM application
7. Compare the "Twizy Range" parameter reported by the apk and the number reported on the Twizy dashboard, if they are the same everything is OK
8. Send the screenshot of the apk page to the email address:

Das mit den Zellenspannungen finde ich Super . Was noch gut wäre , wenn die Max und Min Spannungen des gesammten Trips mit der Zellennummern ersichtlich wäre oder Gespeichert wird . So könnte man nachfolziehen was die Spannung wärent der Fahrt gemacht haben .

Thanks Ernst for your comment.

In my apk the voltage values ​​of all 14 battery voltages, and therefore also the minimum, maximum and max delta V values, are updated several times per second. It is therefore possible to view these values ​​in real time and realize whether the cells "behave well" in all situations: when stationary, in motion or during strong acceleration.

One or more cells could behave well when Twizy is stopped but have problems when a lot of power is required :(, and my apk would highlight this immediately ;)

For the moment, I prefer to dedicate the little time I have available to increasing the display functions (then at a later time I will also activate the "tuning" functions, but not in the short term). The "logging" functions for subsequent analysis, if anything, I will add later ;).

Hi everyone,

for now I'm stuck at Rel. 0.8.6.0 of Twizy_Chk&T, but I have many "upgrades" in mind, all of which are currently "feasible" (i.e. without "technical" difficulties to still have to overcome)
What I unfortunately lack is the time for implementation... but little by little I'm sure I'll be able to make everything I have in mind to develop available :D

However, I wanted to bring to your attention a functionality that is already present today, which I use every day and which is probably not clear even to those who are participating in the experimentation (about twenty to date).

Since the first "cryings" of my APK, I had this functionality well in mind and I developed the SW starting from the assumption that I "wanted" to have it available.

Unfortunately I don't have much time available.....

I report below, as a description of the functionality, let's say of the platform, what I have already reported in the Youtube video, hoping it is understandable


A feature of my application that I am very proud of is that of making it possible to fully use the Android mobile phone while real-time monitoring of the data coming from the Twizy's CANBUS is carried out.

During my daily trips, I always use Amazon Alexa, connected to the Parrot Bluetooth audio system of my Twizy.

A modern Android mobile phone is perfectly capable of managing 2 Bluetooth channels of different technology at the same time:

1) the audio one towards the Parrot or any Bluetooth audio device (headphones or other)
2) the data one towards the odb2 adapter connected to the Twizy diagnostic port

My application was developed precisely to have and exploit this functionality which is very important to me.

In this video I wanted to demonstrate, with forced and close changes of audio streaming (Radio & Amazon Music) that the apk is stable and fully functional, allowing music listening without interruptions, while at the same time they are managed and displayed correctly on the mobile phone display , the data coming at a rate of 10 milliseconds from the Twizy CANBUS

I'll tell you my opinion, at least as far as Italy is concerned.
and I can report 2 "diametrically opposite" examples.

Twizy Flex driver with SoH at 74% after 5 years (he didn't know how to read it independently), he went to the Renault workshop complaining of poor autonomy, they checked the SoH and after 2 months they replaced the battery without creating any problems

Twizy Flex driver with SoH at 70% after 6 years (he didn't know how to read it independently), he showed up at the Renault workshop complaining of poor autonomy, but they didn't even mention the low SoH, they found a thousand excuses not to talk about replacement, also trying to make him "redeem" her. But he wanted them to change it for him. He accredited himself to my experimentation (but any ddt4all tool would be fine to read SoH), I provided him with the apk with this data and it went to Renault, at this point Renault had to confirm the SoH at 70% and therefore the right to obtain a new battery while continuing to pay the fee.....
Right now he is waiting for them to call him for a replacement for low SoH.....;)

Renault will never provide a "larger capacity" battery, but it is certainly possible to force them, if you have a Flex version, to replace the battery "for free" if the SoH drops below 75%.

In my case Renault was very "understanding". Twizy with proprietary battery from 2016, in 2021 my charger broke, the Twizy only had 2200 km (purchased by me, used, in 2020 with 980 km) well, despite being out of warranty, my Renault recognized 70% of the repair and therefore I paid a total of 296 euros

unfortunately it depends a lot on the Renault workshop you turn to and its good relations with the parent company

...pure luck..In Germany, hell would freeze over before Renault would approve a battery change. They insist on stupid test drives carried out by Renault employees and they would never accept the data provided by the car's electronics/OBD2.

But anyway, this project of yours seems very interesting. It will stay pure Android? No Apple Version in planing?

Yes, it will remain "only" Android, I am not a programmer "by profession" but only for "passion" and I don't know the development environments for the Apple world...

Here I am at version 0.8.6.2 of my Twizy_Chk&T.apk

In this version I have made the following information available, in real-time :):

1) Realtime speed
2) Battery voltage 12V (service battery)
3) Ah of the main battery "calculated" by the BMS
4) Number of "complete" 100% recharges of the main battery in the life of the Twizy
5) Number of "partial" recharges of the main battery in the life of the Twizy
6) the sum of the 2 pieces of information provides the total number of top-ups made by the Twizy in its entire life

My ELM327 ODB2 Bluetooth Adapter:

1. Download Twizy_Chk&T_LM.Zip from the following Link: drive.google.com/drive/folders/19XrrXSpVTEz6M-_eeuxoFPo5BIq_4kx-
2. Unzip the Apk with the Pw: "CanBus" (without quotes)
3. Pair your phone's Bluetooth with the ODB2 adapter
4. Install Twizy_Chk&T_LM.apk on your phone
5. Turn on the Twizy (no need to go to Go)
6. Start the Twizy_Chk&T_LM application
7. Compare the "Twizy Range" parameter reported by the apk and the number reported on the Twizy dashboard, if they are the same everything is OK
8. Send the screenshot of the apk page to the email address:

6) Twizy Range (the km represented on the dashboard as residual autonomy)
7) "real" kWh contained in the battery in real time
8) kWh consumed during the trip
9) Km of travel from departure to arrival
10) average consumption in kWh/100km of the trip
11) average consumption in Wh/km of the trip
12) Real-time amps output from the battery
13) Realtime amps fed into the battery in "regen"
14) Watts in real time output from the battery
15) Watts in real time inserted into the battery in "regen"
16) Engine torque NM in real time produced by the engine during acceleration
17) Braking motor torque NM in real time produced by the motor in deceleration
18) Accelerator pedal position in real time
19) Voltage of the 14 cells that make up the Twizy battery (a high voltage difference between the cells may indicate a deterioration of the cells or of some of them or a "balancing" not carried out)
20) Indication of the value of the cell/cells with the maximum voltage
21) Indication of the value of the cell/cells with the minimum voltage
22) MaxDeltaV between these 2 values always in millivolts
23) Traction battery voltage with precision to the nearest hundredth of a volt
24) Temperature in °C read by the 7 temperature sensors contained inside the battery (an imbalance between the various sensors could indicate a specific problem with some cells)
25) Engine temperature in °C
26) Temperature in °C of the Sevcon Inverter
27) Battery charger temperature in °C
28) SoH (State of health of the battery in percentage. Ex: 73%) knowing this value is very important as in the FLEX versions (mine has its own battery) with SoH lower than 75% Renault is obliged to replace the battery under warranty
29) "Real" Ah that the traction battery can contain, calculated by the BMS (It is a value that once it drops cannot rise again, changing the battery without changing the BMS will not raise this data)
30) Twizy model (80 or 45)
31) Battery voltage 12V (service battery)
32) Total recharges (at 100% SoC) carried out by the Twizy for "whole life"
33) Partial top-ups carried out by Twizy for "whole life"
34) The sum of these 2 values corresponds to the total number of recharges carried out by the "whole life" Twizy

HI,

you need a quality odb2 adapter to be able to manage Pids that arrive every 10 ms.

The Apk that I created and published for sending the screenshot has exactly that purpose, that is:

check whether the odb2 adapter used is of sufficient quality.

the Vgate and Vlinker models should all work.

Most of the participants in the trial (already more than 20) have purchased my model, however I have received positive feedback on the functioning even for Vgate models, let's say "basic" even if I don't know the exact model.

I received another positive feedback for the model below, but being "professional", it would have been strange otherwise :)
